Professional and Career Development Loans - help!

Options
Hi,

I have a question about Professional and Career Development Loans. They are only offered by Barclays and Co-Op banks. They specifically state that the course cannot be longer than 2 years (or 3 if it includes 1 year work experience), however, the course I want to do is 3 years part-time. Will I still be eligible to apply?

Also, I have been researching Access to Learning Fund (hardship funds) and it does not specify if this is only eligible for undergrads. Does anyone know? Please help!

Many thanks,

M

The time limits apply to part time study also.

The ALF is available to postgraduates but it is only for unexpected hardship. They will not assist for normal living costs except where there has been an unexpected change in circumstance.
  • Thank you for your response!

So if the time limit applies to part-time study too, does that mean a 3 year part-time course needs to include 1 year work experience?
