I was all set to buy an xbox one bundle from Tesco at the start of the month, waited 1 day to long, only to find zero stock. A week later products back in stock, bundle £40 more, games £2 more, what's the betting the price will drop for Black Friday to the same price it was then or thereabouts, making BF a sham. (I also saw Currys bundle prices where it was dearer than buying separates.

Buy elsewhere, there's other bundles around or dont buy on BF but buy closer to christmas.0 -
Not necessarily Tesco's problem though - could be a funding issue, they'll like many other retailers in the sector be given "discounts" to run products to shift them. When that discount runs out often at completely "random" times or arbitrary sales figures then they have to stop them.
There's also the fact that Tesco will be low priority for stocking games, with all due respects probably outside the bottom 5 in the food chain. Also not exactly surprising given a number of people are using their clubcard vouchers (which I believe have just arrived for this "run") as well.Retired member - fed up with the general tone of the place.0 -
So 11:25, BF sale starts, Console bundle drops to £20 less than its previous price at the start of Nov. But as you say clubcard boost is the thing here. It did start showing the 500Gb box at £229 just after 11pm & the holidays bundle appeared, albeit out of stock at £411, then dropped to £229 before being in stock at 11:25.0
