Chrome won't load web pages while uploading

Whenever I upload content anywhere I find that Chrome hangs and endlessly tries to load web pages with a "This webpage is not available" message. As soon as I have finished uploading I can load pages normally. This never used to happen until now. I have been with Sky BB for 2 years with unlimited download. Does anyone know why this may be happening ?

Downloading still requires some upstream bandwidth. Everything you request uses a small upstream data packet then the downstream data is split into packets each of which has to be ACKed - ie a small package returned to the server to confirm receipt.

Sounds like you need to limit the speed of your uploads in some way or switch over to a fibre package which offers much faster upload speeds. If you are talking about a torrent client then they can easily saturate the downstream if badly configured. In getting that right google is your friend.

But it has only just started happening. I have been using the same site to upload for some time with no problem until now.
