Newbie - Veggie Powered Vehicle!

hi there, I only just started two days ago and have not yet worked out my definitive SOA's yet, so when I get back from the Notting Hill Carnival this weekend I will knuckle down and put those details on a thread and start some real hard graft at sorting out my debt. (Of course staying in budget accommodation with my family at the YHA) and also using a voucher from The Times to get two adult meals and feed the kids for free for our meal out. Oh yes, and not forgetting travelling up there on my discount fares from my Railcard!!!! :A (Well, I've got to be proud of something haven't?)!

Anyway, I also meant to mention that one of my big steps (well the biggest really) was that I recently sold my Petrol-Guzzling 7 seater people carrier (yes the one that got me the big debt in the first place) and sold it and bought a 10 yr old VW Diesel Estate Tdi. I bought it specifically to convert to run on Vegetable Oil a) to save lots and lots of money that I cannot afford to be spending on Fuel, and b) because I really care about climate change and I now have practically 0 carbon emmissions. The really beautiful thing is that I now spend approximately £30 a month on fuelling my car instead of a staggering £90!!!!!!!!!!!! Okay, lets get real here - the kit and labour etc. to have my car converted was £520, but as you can see, it will pay for itself and it was a good investment to radically cut my monthly outgoings on fuel.
I AM VERY PROUD to be the owner of a Veggie Vehicle and lovingly call it my "Silver Machine" - yes I did used to like Hawkwind in my youth and to be honest still do!

So, if anyone wants anymore information or if I am allowed??? to post the details up of where I had it done etc. then I will gladly share. I may even start my own webpage with blog if it is a popular subject.
