Hi.... looking for abit of advice......i rang and spoke to a company today about getting an iva.....but on reading up on them....i dont no if its right for me.......im in debt for £6000.....to two credit cards......i manage most of my money quiet well apart from these......im up to the limit on both and im paying £150+ a month but its only minimum payment so getting nowhere fast......cant ever see myself clearing this debt .....i work part time and have part benefits......can anyone advise me on the best option to take to sort this out....thanks

Please, please speak to one of the free debt charities if you want advice, Stepchange, Christians Against Poverty or National Debtline rather than going near 'a company'

Second what Dawn said. A fee paying company may try to steer you to what makes them the most money. The free ones will look at what is right for YOUFind out who you are and do that on purpose (thanks to Owain Wyn Jones quoting Dolly Parton)0

Yes, not enough info to answer your question. All the options are still on the table until we know more: DMP, DRO, IVA, Bankruptcy.
If it's just a matter of getting interest killed then 0% card juggling might be the least damaging.
Get advice from people in the above list, or CAB, or Payplan, or Community Money Advice. You need to see what strategy fits your situation best0
