Due to a factory closure I have a bin liner full of first aid things. It's mainly bandages which are almost, or already, out of date.
I don't want to bin them as I'm sure there must be somewhere that would be thankful for them but I'm not sure where to send/take them. Any suggestions?

You could trying calling someone like the Red Cross or St Johns Ambulance. I doubt they'd be allowed to use out-ofdate stuff but maybe they could use them for teaching volunteers how things should be done.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,

I'd suggest considering your local animal charity - A lot of people I know that have horses find spare bandages very useful, and I also know a lady that rehomes greyhounds, and they're apparently devils for running flat out into trees when excited! That sounds like a classic case of premature extrapolation.

when i was in girl's brigade, a nurse used to come in every few years and teach a group first aid with out of date dressings and bandages from NHS stock, seemed a good use of out of date stock as it was used to practice on unbroken skin so no risk - but skills could still be practiced - and due to dates could not be used on patients.Dogs return to eat their vomit, just as fools repeat their foolishness. There is no more hope for a fool than for someone who says, "i am really clever!"0
