Anytime in December would be ok in my eyes.
  • I've written mine but holding off until Dec to send them.

I used to write mine in the October half term when I was still teaching as I knew I would have little time in the run up to Christmas at school.

Strangely, since I have retired, I put it off and put it off (I think it is because of all the little catch-up notes I have to put into them) and I end up posting at the last minute.

On that subject, a friend of mine sends a "round robin" typed out newsletter to everyone with, perhaps, a personal little note at the end. I used to get annoyed but am now considering doing that myself! Especially to people who don't do email etc.
  • Noooooo not a round robin! Those short, personal notes mean so very much to the recipients :)

Definitely agree - I do cards early but add little few personal lines before posting in Dec.

Really hate those round robins things - worse than nothing in my opinion - make it personal or not at all.
