Career advice for a 34 year old

I have been in various customer service roles - face 2 face and call centre since I was 16 years old and full time since I was 22. Finding my current job unmotivating, morale is low through the whole shop - one of the reasons is still not been told what is going to happen on Dec 26th, unless been told this week as I have been off. As it falls on Saturday this year, unable to book it off and do they expect a whole Saturday crew to turn up to get a quarter of a normal day's sales? Then I get picked on by my manager for making trivial mistakes and if another colleague did similar, no telling off. Which annoys me as I am dyslexic. I am scared to tell anyone about this as I am worried I get into more trouble,
I would like to see what avenues there are for me to explore and see what jobs are there in those fields.
Unfortunately, going to college isn't an option for me as I live alone, got mortgage and other bills to pay.
Salary wise, looking for something similar or slightly more than I get to cover the costs of travel.
Could anyone please tell me of any organisations, websites etc I can get career advice

If you don't tell people you are dyslexic then you can't expect them to make reasonable adjustments regarding the mistakes made, I would certainly make someone aware at work so there might be a bit more leniancy towards you.ScarletMarble wrote: »I have been in various customer service roles - face 2 face and call centre since I was 16 years old and full time since I was 22. As for College, could you not train around work?- Long distance perhaps?
As for the Sat after Christmas- this as you know is entirely up to your boss how they run their business I'm afraid.Don't trust a forum for advice. Get proper paid advice. Any advice given should always be checked0 -

Why isn't this an option, you can do this, or something like the open university in your spare time and evenings without having to give up work just yet.
What about here as a start

They know my dyslexia, but ticking me off everytime I do something wrong isn't nice. For example, the other week, I was putting out some dishwasher salt. One of the bags in the case had a hole in it and was leaking inside the case. Manager presumed I made the hole with the cutter. I was going to say to her that it was already leaking. But she didn't believe me.
With other colleagues, she will ask them to dispose of that so out stock levels are accurate. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

What I meant the first post, was that if I mention I am being bullied to.anyone, I could get into more trouble.
I revealed my dyslexia a couple of weeks after I started work. I have put dyslexia on other application forms and didn't get any further than thatThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

What has a holed bag have to do with dyslexia?
You didn't have to read to see the hole and the damn salt pouring out.Member #14 of SKI-ers club
