Hi everyone.
I'm currently on a DMP with Stepchange. Do Capital one still charge interest, late payment fees and overlimit fees whilst on a DMP?
Thank you.

Hi,
They don't charge me, but you need to check your statements for all your creditors and then write to complain to any that are. They are of course within there rights to charge but any that do it is usually a nominal amount. I only pay a little to BC.

Don't forget that the DMP is an informal arrangement so there is no requirement for any lender to suspend interest etc.
However, most will given time.
Capital One did eventually stop interest / fees on my account.
Try writing to them with a copy of your Stepchange income / expenditure budget and asking them again to suspend charges and interest.0
