By far the best way to keep track of your finances is with your PC and internet banking. Without travelling the 8 miles you can transfer money, pay bills, cancel direct debits etc. Speak to your bank about internet banking.
Good luck

I agree, internet banking is a life saver.
A simple spreadsheet showing company, amount and dtate to be paid would also be useful, but failing that, set up standing orders to pay your bills. Is it better to aim for the stars and hit a tree or aim for a tree and land in its branches :think:Loves being a Wonderbra friend :kisses3:

I can with HSBC and with Halifax.
I love internet banking but there are often things that you can't do on it, and I suppose it doesn't suit everyone so phone banking has its uses.
Who do you bank with?0 -
I think internet banking is the best way of doing it.You can set your payment to go out on a certain date.and you can check your account every day so you know exactly where you stand. You have to remember if paying most credit cards by internet it takes about 3-4 days for the payment to go out so set your payment date 3-4 days before its due0

Always pay min payments by DD as you dont get any late fees then & payment can always be topped up.I am a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on Mortgage Free Wannabe & Local Money Saving Scotland & Disability Money Matters.
