Anywhere I can buy good staple close-fitted men's t-shirts?

I've been struggling with this for a while.
I basically like wearing shirts but would like to wear t-shirts underneath. However I have never been able to find simple plain t-shirts that fit nicely under my shirts. They are always too loose around the base of my neck (under my chin) instead of being nice and close fitting so they look wrong with a shirt on.
I'm 6'1" and average weight.
I've been to lots of high street stores that you'd typically think would be suitable but I haven't found any that are well-fitting and I don't want to pay 25 quid per t-shirt or anything like that, not looking for anything brand name, but I also don't want to go total-budget (tried some cheap primark ones but they have the same issue at the neck, baggy at the front.
Any ideas? I will try anything.

Try Fruit of the Loom t shirts. They are available on lots of sites so you need to shop round. There are also quite a few offers like "5 of the same colour" packs. We have bought several this year and have been very pleased with the quality and fit in both ladies and mens styles.0
