I bought a pango several years ago, and it's great, paid for itself recently when dd put a whole roll of kitchen roll down the toilet!!! You could try a sink plunger, that's my hubbys preferred method, I just think it's messy because anything that was down the drain is now in the sink. but for me it's got to be the pango, no cleaning up afterwards, it forces any blockage right down the drain.Official DFW Nerd Club - Member # 593 - Proud To Be Dealing With My Debts!0

We had one of these for years and spent a fortune buying stuff to unblock it. In the end DH bit the bullet and undid the ubend thingy - it was full of tile grout, the tiler must have rinsed his cloths in the sink! Since then it has been peachy.0

B&Q sell a good drain unblocking liquid. You'll find it in the plumbing section in a yellow 'bleach type' bottle, it's called something like 'heavy duty drain unblocker'. Works wonders.0

Hi, have you tried hair removal cream? Squeeze some near the drain, give it a stir with an ear bud (yuk yuk yuk!) and then run lots of hot water.
It may be worth a go, even though you think that hair may not be the prob.Declutter 300 things in December challenge, 9/300. Clear the living room. Re-organize storage
