Yep. That's what Payplan are there for now. If you start ringing or writing to these people it only encourages them.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Moorcroft ( ) should deal with the third party, Payplan, that your husband has nominated. It is against the OFT guidelines for Debt Collection not to do so, and continued demands, by Moorcroft, could constitute harrassment.I am NOT, nor do I profess to be, a Qualified Debt Adviser. I have made MANY mistakes and have OFTEN been the unwitting victim of the the shamefull tactics of the Financial Industry.
If any of my experiences, or the knowledge that I have gained from those experiences, can help anyone who finds themselves in similar circumstances, then my experiences have not been in vain.

Does anyone know about the "court divison" ,that was what was under the headed paper after Moorcroft debt recovery ltd.
I've sent all details to payplan so we are going to have to sit tight and see whats gonna happen next.Does this mean we are going to court?

It would be worth reading the faq section regarding DMP's on the Payplan website.
http://www.payplan.com/frequently-asked-questions/debt-management-plans.php
In particular:
In other words it is pretty much a futile gesture for them to take you to court. Can my creditors still issue me with a County Court Judgement?
As a DMP isn't legally binding creditors could still take action against you. As Payplan have many years experience and have a great relationship with the creditors this is less likely to happen. However Payplan would continue to support you if any of your creditors applied to the court for a CCJ. Even if a creditor applied to the court for a CCJ the payment should remain similar to what you are paying through Payplan.
It is all a bluff to scare you. Don't give in, and refer them to Payplan.Free/impartial debt advice: National Debtline | StepChange Debt Charity | Find your local CAB

Don't worry much about the court division on the letter head, it is just a name to scaremonger consumers. I know this because we keep recieving such letters at work, they keep sending you letters 5 or six times one after another.
Hope this helps, easing your concerns.
As far as action required, I'm not much experienced with what to do next. Above posts seems sensible enough, direct moorcroft to payplan.LBM(23/07/07):17603.84 Balance Now(30/09/07): 16763.57
