Asda have an offer on for Gressingham Foods whole duck 2 kg for £5. £2.50/kg seems a good deal. I have never tried duck before so may be well worth a go.

You'd have to be quackers not to try it.

Duck is a really nice meat.


Though you get more carcass to meat ratio than you do on the same size chicken.

You will get lots of fat coming off it in your roasting tin - save it up to make fantastic roast potatoes in.

Sorry, I can't buy anything to do with Gressingham after seeing the video of how cruel their workers with ducks, kicking them around a barn like footballs. It would choke me to eat anything of theirs.
