LED Lightbulbs (low energy replacements for halogens)

Only one company makes a low energy bulb that works in dimmers, (megaman dimmer) everything else doesn't as far as I am aware0

Yep, its the one above the bulb in the OP. I suppose I could just change the dimmer switches I have to normal ones, but thinking about it, I have a load of spare normal GU10 bulbs anyway, someone told me that because I have 240v lights, ie no transformer, the bulbs go bang alot....... so far in 2 years, only one has gone and I've got 10 lights.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0

And they're not LED, they're compact flourescents. I'm tempted by these but put off by the quoted equivalent light output per bulb of only 10W and the fact they these are very unlikely to be honoured as a). these orders will not be touched until Monday morning and b). the site T&C'S allow them to invite purchasers of under-priced items to resubmit their order at the correct price when such an error is spotted (which it will be).0 -

I received my package from The Green Shop today after ordering the Kosnic Energy Saving LED Spot pack of 4 for £7.62, and was mildly amused to only find one bulb. Anyone else had this?0
-
Yes, I ordered 2 packs of 4 bulbs to replace the bulbs in the kitchen, and I actually only received 2 bulbs..0

They rang me up today and told me the price was wrong;did I want them at the right price, or did I want to cancel?0
-
i received an email asking if i wanted to purchase at full price as this was a missprice !!!
