Ccj

Hi,

A CCJ was applied to a member of my family. However it was not supposed to be applied so the lawyers who we're handling the case applied for the judgements to be set aside. However they keep saying they have no idea how long it takes to be actually set aside. It's already been 3 weeks.

Does anyone have any idea?

It will be at the courts discretion, they are busy places, so have patience.
You all be notified of the result of your set aside application, if/when it's approved.

You can ring the court and ask if you are that desparate to know.

On what basis was it 'wrongly applied'

    Ring the court

We don't need to know the details.

To get judgement set aside you just need a reason why the claim was not responded to, and a defence with a realistic prospect of success.
