Company car tax

Options
Hi all,

I desperately need some help in understanding company car tax and what I would be required to pay. I'm due to start a new job next year and I'm trying to understand if I will be in the 20% or 40% bracket.

My salary would be £43k and the P11D value of the car is £37k with CO2 emissions of 114g/km. I intend to make pension contributions (salary sacrifice) of around 6%.

I've tried 2 IOS apps and they both give different results. Can anyone help in understanding if I will have to pay 20% or 40% tax on the car please? There would be no fuel benefit.

Thanks

if you go to the HMRC website there is a calculator, the benefit in kind is added to your salary which i expect will take you into the 40% bracket it then depends what pension salary sacrifice quantum you make
