Dodging my debt

Hey there....
This is my first post here....jeez I don't know what to write....
Breifly, I had a few problems a few years ago wanted an escape route so I didnt pay my loans off and moved abroad for a year or so....
Last time I heard from Barclays I owed them £10k, I'm assuming it was referred to debt collection agency (I havent recieved anything from an agency btw) I left the country in sept 04 came back a year later. I fell pregnant while away, had more issues, couldnt work as I was expecting.
I knew if I started working straight after having my child I would be stuck in a bigger rut than I am now, so I did an Access course and at my degree course next month.
Obviously I'm going to get in more debt while I study, I have a basic bank account, no extra debt other than bills and my bank which I "bumped"
How do I go about paying this back? How much will I have to pay back per month etc?? I'm hoping to get a p/t job as well as study so should have that little bit extra to pay. I would also like to put a little aside IF possible, I just dont know how to go about it!!!
Thanks

firstly welcome! secondly, u need to pop up an soa (state of affairs), see southern scousers sticky post on how to do this. thirdly, how old is the debt? after 6 years it becomes statute barred as long as you havent made any contact/payment to the creditor.
good luck and well done for posting xxLBM 29/07/ 07

I really don't hopw old it is as like i said I didnt pay and haven't heard anything from the bank/agency (I was living in london with the debt and when i came back to the UK I moved back to my hometown so they haven't contacted me as yet)
The last contact I had with the bank/about my loan will have been Sep04 when I left the country.0
