Morrisons reward points

I have been a long time user of Morrisons and have their match and reward card, averaging between 1000 and 2000 points a week with my weekly shop.
Recently they changed the way their points work, and now I get around a pitiful 220 points, and yes, you still need 5000 points to get a £5 voucher. Do Morrisons take us all for mugs with this change?
I have written to them twice about it now, the first time they ignored me, lets see if they reply this time?
Anyone else noticed this?

How much did you have to spend a week to get 1000 to 2000 points then.
Im quite happy with the new arrangement. I hardly ever qualified to get points apart from Petrol.
I go in most days because I like my food fresh, bread, veg etc so spend a tenner or so. And Im a pensioner so didn't ever qualify for the 'spend £40/50 a week for 6 weeks or so to get a free £5.
So I now get points every time I shop, thank you Morrisons.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
I never understand why they ever brought the point system out given the amount of no frills competition is out there now. Its quite simple give people everyday deals all time with no gimmicks. Its not difficult to understand but took Morrisons for whatever reason a while to get there
I think many people dont have any loyalty now to any shops nor should they it just alienates some people who dont shop there every week to think well I may as well go to discounters at least I get everyday deals there.
I wish all the shops like Sainsbury's, Tesco would pack it in with gimmicks that they do 10 branded deals or less no one believes the hype most of us can work out of for other-selves whether we getting a good deal or not0 -
