I have only managed to get a bird from the clue today, not found any other..
I'm wondering something though, could they be on some sort of account timer? I found the birds late last night, around 11ish, which was my first time playing it - so I wonder if it might be on a 24hour timer? I'll see if I can find some around that time tonight.

Thousands of punters are spending hours browsing the site in the vain hope of finding another hummingbird.

I see you have continued previous years practice in that virtually everyone will have found 3 jelly bears and 3 bon bons half way through the promotion and it will drive them crazy trying to find the fourth, when we know that only three people will be allowed to do this, and that will be on the last couple of days of the promotion.

The first part could be detrimental rather than beneficial to the site and like McDonalds Monopoly/newspaper bingo etc there will almost certainly be a predetermined number of potential winners (once reached the "free prize draw" entry would replace the other symbols)

Apologies to the newbies who haven't been around long enough to have experienced my occasional jesting, and special apologies to those whose command of English does not match that of a native. Congratulations to those who immediately realised what it was - I will have to try harder next time.

The trouble is, ALL of the points in it may well be true. That's why we have comments like "I played for the first time today and found 5 birds" when everyone else is finding just the one in the daily clue. The number of prizes is predetermined, and this is given in the T&C and copied in post #3 of the comp thread:

Prizes for collecting sweets:
1 x £1000
2 x £250
10 x £50
25 x £20
50 x £10
200 x £5
500 x £2
5000 x £1

The last part is, of course, totally true:

boots still isnt working for me

On Saturday I found 4 - yesterday could only find 1 - but today I have found 6 including the clue BOOTS. Most of the ones I've found have been mentioned on the main thread - todays have been Boots, Waitrose, Homebase, Hotels.com, Curry's and Debenhams. I also clicked on New Look forgetting I had already been there and the bird appeared - when I clicked it the pop up changed to - you already have that sweet try again.

Make that 7 today just got one on Bpay - again mentioned in main thread.
