Mortgae with or without my Wife on?

Ok, another question for a veteran discharging from the Army.
We currently live in Tidworth because thats where I am based.
We will however be moving up the country closer to our families.
I take it my wife will have to give up her permanent job and will not be able to be on the mortgage?
Will she be on the 'deeds'?
Can anybody tell me how this will exactly work as we have a joint account?
Anybody in here been in similiar circumstances?

Your wife can be on the mortgage even without any income of her own, I believe.Grateful to finally be debt free!0

No requirement for your wife to have an income to be named on the mortgage application. The lender will assess affordability on the basis of your ability to fund both the mortgage and your family.0

Ok that is good. We both want to set up a 'help to buy isa' next month. Will that still be ok even with one wage that we both recieve max benifit from the scheme?
Obvious answer from me is that its a joint app...with one wage. So it should be ok?0 -
Nothing in the rules to say you cannot have 2 ISA accounts.
Initial deposit is a £1k with a maximum of £200 per month thereafter. So even with 2 accounts may take a while to build a significant deposit.0
