Its about time we had a good glitch this year, we have not had any bodyshop or M & S or BHS glitches this year. I still cant belive that M & S one we got, my mum still tells everyone what a lovely hamper I made her that year :rotfl::rotfl:

That's to be expected Sarah ......bet you wish you were back in Bruges to take your mind off things......I've said it so many times I know....we are hardwired to expect the worst not what's the most likeliest outcome. :A

Yes I wish we were anywhere but here at the minute, with this hanging over our heads, his dad phoned me this morning, very worried and upset over it, said tried to speak to OH but not getting anywhere with him. OH is one of those that just puts it to the back of his mind and wont speak to anyone about anything :(

  • Real tree?

Not for us this year, not worth spending £40 or so.

We do have various fake trees. Bought 90% off.

We are also instead filling the house with other real greenery. There's a lovely evergreen with little pine cones etc in the wrong place with 2 branches in the way stopping us using a path down to my son A's garden, so we're going to lop those off & use them as a substitute tree.

And I'm going to get a few branches off a different evergreen that is on its last legs (getting sprawly) but the branches still look good, if in luck some more pine cones.

A couple of years ago I planted 15 titchy Nordmann pines in a row for future use, about £1.50 each, & they are growing in my 'tree plantation' ready for Xmas future lol

Twenty Muller would be a better return (if room and not enough room for 30!)?

    20 = £6 cost
    APG sees 68p x20=£13.60
    T £10.36 (3x£3 +2x68p)
    10% £1.036

    =(£13.60-£10.36)+£1.03
    = £4.27 return on £6 spend? £1.73 for 20 = 8.6p each?

    Muller lust satisfied :D

Technically lost 2p on milk but I was feeling reckless :T
...my earlier post was incorrect, 30s work out at 7p each not 10.3p :o

edit to add: TS&M all same for mullers, Sains would have lost 38p on coffee/bisks.
edit2: Shop was 7:30pm tonight or I would have posted earlier!

Out of interest, why split over 4 shops? 30 in one shop would have been better as divisible by 10 (A) and 6 (to match T) - still a good price though.

I didn't dare take 30 to the till, thought I would of looked odd!!
Do you think this will be working tommorow?

Just printing off my APG I see that you have to sign in to your online account now to get them, so I'm presuming this goes against your £100 per month, is there any way around this?

We leave the real tree as long as we dare to try and get one reduced. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for B&Q this year
