Am3x update - One Stop sell mince at £3 for 500g, so £3/kg for anyone struggling for ideas. the toilet rolls £5/18 (£5/36 after Am3x) seem to compare nicely in terms of roll thickness to Nicky.

    Pringles 2 for £2, so 10 for £5. Gold Blend £5/200g - £5/400g after Am3x. St3lla 10 pack £10, 50p a can after Am3x.

Please do keep posting any good deals - I am being careful only to get items we need/use regularly that work out cheaper than A after APG :A.

Sorry to any Elite who don't have Am3x - hopefully recent discussions illustrate why it is a good idea if you are able to get one :).

Just need to be careful that we are not spending for the sake of spending - saving £5 is fine but it is still costing £5 each time and petrol if stores are not close by (we have lots of One Stop round here so passing for work ... and A :D).

The potatoes are going to be Maris Piper Potatoes, 2Kg, at Aldi at 39p. Unless any other offer comes on that is better or any glitch that sees me obtaining potatoes for less than that price or getting back more than I originally spend on them.

Otherwise, that's a very good price per kg - just under my 49p for 2.5Kg! Not quite £2 for 12.5Kg equivalent - >£2.43!

These are the new offers starting on 10th December. It is almost running through until the end of the year - new offers start on New Year's Eve. I can see me buying lots of bags of those potatoes until nearly the end of the year - and then probably multiple bags on 30th December! They are also due to have 600g Parsnips at 39p, 750g 'fresh' Sprouts at 39p (far better than any of those packs from T at 69p:eek: or what have you) and Broccoli at 39p. Also 1Kg carrots at 39p. I'll probably be spending several pounds overall:rotfl:!

I'm no longer having any parsnips at 49p:eek:. So, I can see myself crossing items off the Lidl list:rotfl:.

I obviously popped into Aldi on the way back to pick up a final pack of those pears, as tomorrow will be another busy day for me. Guess what? They want to go out again:wall: - on a Wednesday!!:rotfl:

I needed an emergency bread shop so just bought 'not enough items' (small womble) - no whoopsies as our freezer is still full anyway (actually it's full with whoopsied bread for me from a day ago - but, they need their own bread now as they refuse to have my Wholemeal!:wall:). I notice Mr A wasted no time putting its SP bread back up from 33p to 36p having seen M increase in price! However, instead of two 10p bananas, I picked up a SP item at 17p, so they still got no more from me that they would have done otherwise!

Anyway... I've got some receipts. The PG... but... will they be 10% cheaper?

    ...

Er... no, they won't! Because it's nearly impossibly highly extremely unusually Morries are cheaper again!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
£6.31!:D:j:j:laugh: I got them there after their bread!

8 items (7 different) on your receipt qualify for comparison Asda morrisons
    1x ASDA Grower's Selection Black Seedless Grapes (500G) £2.00 N/A
1x ASDA Chosen By You Strawberry Crisp (500G) £1.98 £1.62
    1x Huggies Pull-Ups Night-Time Training Pants Girl Size 6 Large (10) £5.18 £4.96
    1x Jacobs Cream Crackers (200G) £0.88 £0.89
1x ASDA Chosen by You Pepperoni Feast Stuffed Crust Pizza 10in (379G) £3.50 N/A
    1x Jim Beam White Label Bourbon (70CL) £13.00 £13.00:T
    1x McVities Breakfast Fruit & Oat Bakes Porridge Oats & Apple (5X40G) £1.99 £2.00
2x Philadelphia Original Soft White Cheese Family Pack (280G) £2.00 £2.00
    1x Fire Eater Hot Cinnamon Liqueur (70CL) £15.00 £13.00:T:T
Comparison total (compared products only) £40.03 £37.47
    +£2.56 cheaper

Obviously not my prices as I'd be looking for £10 (or under;):D) on 70cl, but, anyway. It certainly makes up for the bread. I think the Philadelphias may have gone down from 300g to 280g, but they are there - available in ones:D vs M at £1 each.

Dgd nativity tomorrow but she is a snow flake so I doubt it will be much

about Joseph and Mary ..... Although I am not a practicing Christian church

goer. Apart from weddings funerals and christenings ...it would be nice if we

could celebrate Christmas in a time served traditional way with no room at

the Inn and Away in a manger song drifting round the hall from the cutest

little 4. year olds ever ....Pantomine next week looking forward to that as

I am a helper ..how I don't know it will be Dgd taking care of me instead of

the other way round ...When her daddy came to pick her up she said to him

like I am not there ?..Don't ask her Daddy because she has been forgetting

things again today ... you need to put it on a note for Gwandma....kids don't

    you just love their honesty
