Its taken us over 5 hours to get home from Wales tonight, with the roads closed, and M54 being shut, it was crawling on A5.
We were on the a5 last night as well, i think it took us an hour and 20 mins to do 8 miles

Reasons to use the PM system.
OH tells me he had a PM (on another forum) by a company representative asking if they could chase something up for him that I had posted hadn't yet arrived. Other than OH not realising I had posted on his account, it shows that people monitor forums (in a good way) and that it's worth keeping an eye out for PMs.

Is LFAB in a drunken stupor again
thought she may have posted a tune
Oi! Cheeky sod
On this occasion I wasn't actually a drunken bum, I've been tucked up in bed with a bad case of man flu
Hope you're well :kisses3:...those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.

Good morning all...
Was up and out bright and early this morning but sadly I couldnt get what I had intended...sorry cjj but I will keep looking!
Talk last night of the fizzy crisps...i bought some of the elderberry and prosecco ones from T ....ummm no they weren't that special...
I've also had my orchard showstoppers vouchers through and why oh why did I choose the beef rib and not the christmas pudding(even though no one really likes christmas pudding in our house)
The beef rib is a voucher for £9.50 and after talking to the butcher lady on the counter I have established that its unlikely to buy a piece of meat thats much bigger than a small steak.....apparently the average size is 4 ribs and that cost around £25....
Therefore I cant see much excitement about this campaign...and a hand along coupon for £4 or £2 seems hardly worth the conversation...
so what have I gained from showstoppers....a standard jar of cranberry sauce worth 75p
stay safe everyone and have a good day....frugal October...£41.82 of £40 food shopping spend for the 2 of us!
2017 toiletries challenge 179 out 145 in ...£18.64 spend0
