Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

I know what you mean about time. I know this sounds stupid but I feel like growing up in London everyone is in such a rush, when you're at the tube you hear people tutting when an announcer says 'delays due to a person under a train', usually followed by someone on phone moaning about it. They don't seem to think about what state of mind that person was in when they decided to jump in front of the train, I'm guessing it wasn't 'woo hoo I'm going to make everyone late for work'.
I used to work in London, and you're right it's awful especially on the tubes, it's a battle for survival, you either join them or get crushed, I watched a prog about it a couple of years back and someone had died in a station and people were just stepping over him to get to their train."He that lieth down with dogs shall rise up with fleas" Benjamin Franklin

Houseguest brought his girlfriend for dinner tonight. She was lovely, very polite and sweet. She brought me a plant. We had dinner and pretty much talked about what was going on at school. I'm so very chuffed for him because he's happy and this girl is good for him. he was very protective and gentalmanly over her. in a nice to see old fashioned way. Go him!
I was always fairly free with my children's viewing but back then there was no watershed protection. I know they shoe celebs eating all sorts of things but I just felt that the questions could have been aimed slightly more to the family. OK I use to be able to talk the merits of penis extensions with my dad but many wouldn't want to. Now how many penis does an octopus have us in my view a slightly better question. It is a well loved show and much of the banter would go straight over a child of let's say 8, as might be up on a sat night, head.
Everything was discussed in my household but sometimes I preferred to be pre warned as to what it might be. It's harder when children vary in ages within a family as well.
Mind you there has been far less gratuitous shower scenes this year, if you exclude Kieron on friday:) which has made for better viewing, as has a great choice in contestants who see this as an experience you can't buy rather than just air time exposure.
At my sisters night ready for the appointment from hell tomorrow. Mind you I will go in there and own it;)

rhosynbach, computer says I can't print any more, I've reached my limit, otherwise I would donate to food bank. Don't want them to go to waste.:)
TM, I love lists and like you start them with things I have already done as it give you a boost! Brushed teeth, tick, fed dog, tick, sorted recycling tick etc.:rotfl: I have one at work too but it gets buried under paperwork!
I'm hoping to be part of a bank team for immunising. They have been planning for 2 years to have one but haven't done anything about it as there is no money.0 -
Night all, keep safe.:)0
