thanks, I released the valve on top but still came out with very high pressure and then just dribble, I had another play with it last night and ended up pulling the valve off!...it comes out fine now!!

It was cash no receipt, we have texts saying what was paid and how much is owed to us and a text saying he would pay us back.

If so I would look at Trades Associations, CAB or even small claims.
A solicitors letter might prompt action.......
