DM - you were mentioning the other day about deals for a particular present? If it is something that is available from a major retailer with a good returns policy, and something that is not uniquely identifiable (serial number, retailer specific label etc), I have heard some people have been known to buy items in the past and then when the item has appeared in a sale, bought it again at the reduced price and returned ithat item with the original receipt (or if unused, returned the item to get a refund and bought again at the reduced price).

Thank you so much for this reply Anon, but the price does not bother me, it is just totally unavailable. Guess she will just have to wait/do without.“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Its a mystery to me
The game commences
For the usual fee
Plus expenses
Confidential information
Its in a diary
This is my investigation
Its not a public inquiry
I go checking out the reports
Digging up the dirt
You get to meet all sorts
In this line of work
Treachery and treason
Theres always an excuse for it
And when I find the reason
I still cant get used to it
And what have you got at the end of the day?
What have you got to take away?
A bottle of whiskey and a new set of lies
Blinds on the window and a pain behind the eyes
Scarred for life
No compensation
Private investigations
