Is there any use comparing Terry's Chocolate Orange against £1 pricing? We've had better.

    Terry's Chocolate Orange - Milk (175g)

    Store_2.15px.png
    [Strike]£1.98[/Strike] £1.00 57.1p / 100g
    Store_8.15px.png
    £1.00

:( about A being too cheap (although never 10% cheaper) and it losing out vs everywhere else (it is well more than 10% cheaper than those it has to be pointed out - but they are on full price and surely at least T and S will, at some time, go back to predictable £1 again!). Just 10p on the APG:( and that's if it picks up M price - although, from my stores at the moment, it is looking better than it's looked at points in the past (under which it did, on one of those, pick up M full price when it was £1). I would far rather A were £1.95 or even higher (£2.75, come on - unseen mbuy please:rotfl:) than hopeless £1! They usually buy this now and it loses out/cuts a voucher against T/S/W:(. Saying that, all five of my recent successful wombles have been against M - and four of them returning cheaper in M!:) Quadruple unusualness:D:rotfl:.

Still, just 10p:(. At best - I very much doubt they'll glitch at a penny (it has happened in the past though, with the McV Jaffa Cakes) - it's highly unlikely but not totally impossible. (The moment I say it is 10p will be the one occasion that something turns out to make that not the case:rotfl: - but, as far as I know, at best £1vs £1 and therefore rather hopeless ten pence!:p)

Pay for Avios? at 0.95p? Madness. You may just as well pay for your flights. Especially with sales happening so often.

We never buy straight Avios. Earn through BA Amex and OH flies LH on BA. That earns us about 2-3 times what we get through in a year.

Depends how much value you get out of them & your personal situation. I like to have a few in the bank. I ALWAYS get more than 1p of value out of my Avios nowadays, otherwise I'd pay cash for the flights. So buying @ 0.95p represents a certain future profit and leaves me free to pursue opportunities if they arise.

In my mind I just average out the cost, including the inconvenience of (say) buying stuff @ T for resale. Probably close to 0.5p in cost, making my return European BA flights, headline £180 or so, about £90 in real money plus I get the suitcase & snack/ booze.

£5 off a £10 spend at superdrug is now available on Amex Amex cards, yesterday it was only on bank Amex cards.

I also managed to get the 5wys10 at the Post Office from an email link, but only on one of the cards.

Brilliant, I will be buying 2 new toothbrushes on @ better than half price. You can sell on the recharger for a few quid as well, you don't need more than 1.
