I've failed! As well as the Savers White Bread going up in price (that was revealed at my second M yesterday to be 36p:eek:), my first store also seemed coy on the price of the doughnuts. They'd removed the price of 47p from the shelving and, when I visited, had no price showing:naughty:! I forgot to look at them in the second store. So, I suspect they've gone up in price in M - possibly to 50p, maybe even to 65p:eek:! None of them are showing on m.com now so my fallback option to rescue me fails - it's the standard 5-pack Bakery Doughnuts - although M do still have them so does anyone know what price they are? (I'm sure they will be on someone's womble somewhere - Sal will know!). I think what I'll do is just cross them off, and so I have not failed at all, I can just fudge it that way:D, as whatever new price they are - if they've gone up - and the absence of prices on the SEL strongly suggests such (the White Bread - no SEL - had indeed risen in price!) - means they aren't going to be as good as before. M still have their own pack of 6 mini sugar doughnuts at 50p. Maybe a plan to get us to buy those from them there:rotfl:. (They got removed months ago - and even when they've been in and out of M and always, when in, at 50p as far as I've seen - then again I would not notice higher prices - they've never made a reappearance on the list ever since the other Doughnuts, comparable from A, went to 47p. I suspect they are no longer.)
