Morning, bargain chockie at Morries
http://www.hotukdeals.com/deals/cadbury-crunchie-treat-size-12-bars-fudge-treatsize-15-bars-only-43p-morrisons-store-2323909
Add to that Milky Way funsize as well, but all three of them you may be lucky with some in certain stores and not lucky with others. So that is the last time I ever go for RTC or 'special purchase' items at £1! That price is just too expensive! Unfortunately I bought the Crunchie and Milky Way at M a couple of weeks ago at £1 each. Thus I've overpaid again:(:o. Lost £1.12 across the two bags:eek: - I could have had two extra bags for that and still had change. 43p is excellent - until I see cheaper:rotfl:. The only consolation for me is that the store I visited today didn't actually have the Crunchie or Milky Way but did have clear SELs for them, so I picked up some of the Fudges instead. And paid them further money:rotfl::(. I wasn't going to get the Fudges as I didn't really like them last time - but, at this price... so much for the standard 147g packs of Cadbury's Fudge that go onto £1 offers:rotfl: (funsize = 202g).
My second store didn't have any of these RTC Funsize bags - it's not store-specific but your store may be OOS - probably having sold to muggles like me at £1. The Mars and Maltesers, that were on £1 offer not RTC, have both shot up in price today to £2.76!
Not much change otherwise in M today - next week is going to be the horrendous one as lots of offers are now due to end on 22/11. The Italian meals (which will impact on the American Rockin' Chilli) have gone back up. I found errant £1 SELs saying the offer ended 8/11 in one store - they simply kept those labels on when it was extended a further week but had just simply not removed them this morning when I visited - other store has taken the offer labels away as they have gone back up to £2.17 - and sneaked into the 3 for £6 offer - with the others alongside them that were never on the £1 offer.
The Red Plums punnets are now longer on the mbuy offer but back to straight 87p:(. They might still work on the APG in 2s, assuming it ever picked up the offer. The Diced Swede has gone up to 60p:eek: and the Diced Carrot & Swede packs may be set to follow - I have some old stock still at 54p.
The 'ordinary' Activia 4 packs have gone up in price. It's now onto the Activia Intensely Creamys that are now £1 (but I don't bother with £1 yogurts) but I think they do not work on the APG as they may have been full price last Wednesday. Sorry to mess you all around, but the Pork Shoulder, that I removed last week as it had gone up to £3/kg, is now back at £2/kg once more - although it won't work on the APG yet of course. There's some Lake District cheddars (350g) at £1.50 - again they won't work on the APG if they are available in A as needs to await the update.
Princes Tuna Chunks (4x160g) - three versions - at £2 is worth mentioning. Won't work yet of course. Or £3 and 2 for £5 if you go by the old SEL my store still has:mad:. £2 is 50p per can - however some individuals were 25p in A some while ago. Nonetheless I have the Osprey Flakes at 2 for £1 on my list (only available in M) - there were individual Princes cans at 185g according to OOS markings on msm so they appear to have gone down. So, that's what "new special size" (or something v.similar) meant!
Quorn Steak Strips 300g (potential APG item but will need to wait on them) and Steak & Gravy Pudding 380g (sadly not the 400g pack of pies available in A but the Pudding available in T at £3:eek:) are now 97p in M.
I think the Hallowe'en sweets may have gone now - in one of my stores they had replaced the 300g bags of Hallowe'en M&Ms on £1 with some usual pouches of M&Ms on £1 offer. They are 165g - making them seem very tiny and appear now to be quite a rip-off:rotfl:.
The big (500g) bags of Monkey Nuts may have sold out in some M stores but I found them still available at 50p in one of mine today.
They'll be more later - as usual it will take ages before I update anything - it turns out M do stock some 5 pack versions of Cornetto at £1 but may not be in every store (4 pack version are on 5 for £4 offer but individual price seems to have gone up? - saw 4 pack versions a number of months ago at final 50p RTC prices). 5 pack available in A, 4 pack available in T - do keep up at the back!0 -
Picked up lemon dishwasher tablets today, had to return them as charged £120 for 10 packs. Still compared at 12 vs 6 so £67 return on 10 packs.
C+C of course. Its odd I can get the voucher when I return them.
If I had done my research, visited my local, found the tabs at £3 rtc, taken a pic with my phone and ordered for the next morning only to be told that I was being charged £12 each, I would happily refuse because I believe I have good reason to.
However..
If I had put in an order on the off chance and was charged the correct price of £12 that they were instore, I couldn't possibly refuse the tabs, to me that is fraud. And, at the end of the day, the apg does not have to be claimed, does it?..:o
I am not guessing how you placed your order neas, just sayin'..
As I said, different lines and all that. However, I believe behaviour like this is just as damaging to the apg system as a whole, possibly even more so than those who hammer the glitches when they come around.0 -
Does Sanex 0 handwash work against T please? In other words is it picking up £1 price for T or has that offer only just gone on and not yet updated in the system? TIA.0
