OK here's the laptop deal, I've done this a few times, the cheapest I got it was £135.
Buy this model as cheap as you can http://www.dabs.com/products/hp-probook-450-intel-core-i3-5010u-4gb-500gb-15-6--windows-7-professional-64-bit--k9k29et-abu--k9k29et-BMF6.html
Important bit is Mfr#: K9K29ET
You'll need to trade in an old XP computer (any age) or other qualifying device (under 6 YO) you might have, see T&Cs for a list but it's very easy to find a working XP desktop for £15 or under, it is better if it has the COA label on it but not strictly necessary. Many of us have a redundant XP in the loft etc.
Buy your model then apply for the trade in money here https://tradeuptohp.com/gb/en/pages/tradein/home
£150 for the K9K29ET.
Then in a time period 30-60 days from purchase (put it in the diary) go here to claim another £50 http://www.hppromotions.co.uk/PromotionCat.aspx?cat=notebooks
Plus you'll have used TCB for another £10 off or so.
And the Amex savvy will have 800 Avios points on top = another £8.
You could try using a code if you find one but it might negate the TCB/ Quidco.
So currently £400 @ Dabs = about £180 real cost, but you could find it cheaper somewhere else. The various incentives change every month - which is how I got £250 cashback on my first 2 (plus the TCB/ Amex).
How good is it? It's an Intel Core i3 with a really decent processor rating, CPU benchmark 3047.
Compare it to your current computer:
Get your current processor by - right click 'This PC', click 'properties', note your processor, stick it in google search with 'CPU benchmark'.
You might be surprised how well this compares, you might not if you're on an i5 or better lol
Impressed. DS1 would be better off with the larger memory than faster processor so I'll stick with last nights deal.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Haven't been online for a while & no time/inclination at moment to read back BUT thought I'd better tell you lot of a GREAT buy - especially for a present OR for someone that's always fancied one but thought they were too expensive. I LOVE my nutribullet! I've received a couple to give away for presents & they look just like a nutribullet but they have a 1000W motor instead of 700W as the nutribullet. The 700W is on amazon at £49.99 and has good reviews but this is 1000W so should be better. This one RRP £159.99 now £29.99. Pinch of salt time!

Hope everyone is OK, hugs to all those who need one & belated happy birthdays/congratulations to everyone.
Ooh I went back to docs & ECG, XRays OK & bloods nearly OK so that's good!:T I do have to go back for more bloods in 2 weeks as my white cell count is well down but I already know I have a autoimmune disorder. Never been breathless like this before though.
Hope somehow they find out what's causing it. Realised I do do get anxious about hubby - have done for 5yrs+ so guess it's probably down to that. He's getting anxious about me too which is causing him to have more symptoms too, which makes me more anxious - Catch 22 situation!
My eldest I think is hoping for a nutribullet which she says eats carrots whole“Create all the happiness you are able to create; remove all the misery you are able to remove.
