I did think about doing it the other way...but I am running out of useful fillers at the moment on my shopping lists(getting 10 items is becoming harder) ...so I bit the bullet and went straight in with Morries...but my I'll go to T polite comment did the trick.

you can buy 1 banana , 1 onion etc

Edit there are alot of varieties and with the overage on the sauce can get few bits, 1 got 4 sauce, 4 assorted pasta, loaf hovis bread, 1 red, 1 white onion, 2 pack scotch eggs and everday value cheesecake paid 6p :D

    My knee B...... hurts!:(:(

I feel slightly better though because T. let me have my favourite Faustino wine for about £3.12 a bottle:D

My brand guarantee results haven't come through on the checking system yet, but I can tell from the discount on my online shop receipt, that it compares very well to A.

It is comparing at full price before the 25% reduction, so,
£7-50 x6 =£45 comparing to £30 A. giving a £15 brand match. (Unfortunately it is not comparing to the offer A. 6 for £25 price):)

There would appear to be some other wines that compare well, but I haven't had a proper look as I am happy with my Faustino!

Thank you to one of my FB friends for the tip off!:beer:

It won't compare to the A offer as that's a category-wide promotion that is too difficult to make a fair comparison:(:(. I refer you all back to the very same rule that I've just mentioned in my last post. So, not too happy that it's too difficult for T this time:rotfl:.

    6x STELLA CIDRE PEACH 500ML £10.01 † £10.00 n/a £10.00

Wine cost £11.72 with fillers :)

It would appear that T. has now picked up the A. offer price:)

A good job I have another delivery booked for tomorrow!:D

Right: midnight on Friday 27/11/2015 is when Black Friday starts, according to Tesco internal memo.

They presumably mean midnight tonight, right?

Otherwise it would be Black Saturday

Midnight tonight - in other words the first moment of tomorrow morning. I imagine that's when the date falls on the legal calendar too. Although I think the T Extra that are "Black Friday" stores (those that are normally 24 hour opening - are they all 24 hour opening?) are shutting at midnight (tonight) and reopening at 5am tomorrow?

Oh:T:T:T:T. You know, I thought I was wrong in saying A's offer was a category offer: it's really a standard mbuy. So, they should pick up the A offer (but miss their own as that is a category-wide offer).:D:T

EDIT: Why is squigs saying £45 price for T but it's appearing on the comp. at £42? Are you getting £17 deduction (with the A price at £25) (assuming that you don't buy anything else that compares to more expensive or cheaper at A or else if everything else cancels each other out exactly) or are you getting, as you should, with the exclusion of T's own offer, £20 deduction?

...but then I still have to use them up ....along with all the other little fillers that I buy...

I've actually found that sometimes its easier to have a staple list of things we would actually use rather than something just because its cheap or a sweet flump...but at the moment it seems that we want for very little, not even more fillers.

I have visions of going to T and finding I have more onions than them....now theres a though I wonder if I could sell them back......

At the moment i'm even struggling to use up the overage on the cidre vouchers let alone adding barilla vouchers into the mix as well...

last week our total shopping bill was under £5 with the use of overage vouchers and I'm going very much in that direction this week too...

not bad for a family of 4...I'm happy with the spend although I'm sure others would say I'm still overspending on a weekly shop by at least £4.00

I'm also very lucky to have all the major supermarkets reasonably close so if the spend is less in one than the other it makes sense to use that shop....at the moment I'm filtering the barilla vouchers through M simply because at 25p a jar that suits me fine.
