The coke zero is still a goer (7.30). I think system updates come in around 9.00 'ish (price promise sometimes used to change on the BNI deals, what worked for me on an early shop, didnt sometimes work later in the morning). They may not be aware of it yet. Worth a try.

Bizarre conversation tonight when he arrived to watch I'm a celeb....

'Mum, did you name me after a font?'

    I'm thinking...churches....christenings....what's he going on about? :o

Then he told me he'd been editing a document on his computer and whilst he was looking for a suitable font for the text, he found one that is the same as his middle name :rotfl::rotfl:

I resisted the temptation to let him think I'd named him after a computer font and told him the name came from one of OH relations who was named after a font :D He accepted this, we watched I'm a celeb and he went to bed. He came downstairs at 11pm and said 'I think you're lying to me mum, fonts weren't even invented when uncle xxxx was born' :rotfl::rotfl:

    Love this:T:T

Come on folks ...what would your font name be?

    Can I choose Ms Mincho?:rotfl:

You know, I wish they'd do this on some nice expensive item like washing powder or booze. All we'll do is turn up, each time, to buy whatever item they've got wrong, which they won't know about in advance, plus our fillers, and get to it before they then realise and start pulling it off the shelves:D:rotfl:.

The options are (or include): they could either pull their entire TBG scheme:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: (and then won't offer it to customers and have to backtrack so soon on all the heavy promotional advertising they have done - this will make little or no odds anyway as the actual pricematch (to real competitors' prices) is, as I've said, quite useless - you may as well buy at the cheapest store and not requite the extra items etc. and if there are glitches, we get them, if not, well, we find them elsewhere - so makes little odds anyway). Alternatively, they make sure they get their pricing data accurate. Or, third possibility, they have to accept that occasional glitches will occur and take a hit for those when weighed off against the benefits and extra custom that the scheme brings to them elsewhere.

Coke Zero 24 pack - available only in T Northern Ireland:D:rotfl:.

But was that changing during the week? Not on a Saturday?

I suspect M prices Monday and Thursday (or possibly Friday). So would your BNI deals sometimes fail on a Thursday (or Friday) afternoon? M data - I reckon it may be fixed until Monday afternoon at the earliest. I doubt there's anything they can do (at store level) to get it out of the system. No-one who is able to change any data (would be higher) level works on the weekend - unless they have an emergencies operation team. And then what? It's just this one item (as far as we know) - they don't have a whole new dataset to upload.

Ah, take it off the shelves:rotfl::rotfl::(.

(Or be prepared for a minority of customers, us, to come in and buy it up. I wouldn't put it past some stores - left hand doesn't know what right is doing - who stock the product and maybe never become aware of an issue with it, as maybe no-one bought it noticeably at the tills (haphazard) and every customer at SS buying it didn't get noticed - I wouldn't put it past some places to run out of stock, unknowingly, and then to bring out more stock of it and all that to go to glitchers:D. Unless something is co-ordinated from higher level and communicated down to all stores... and you know what sort of co-ordination people do. In other words, doomed to failure where the message doesn't get noticed:rotfl:. Imagine contacting all the several stores that stock it and getting them all to remove it. And sometimes you know that some stock gets left in odd places in the stores and doesn't get noticed. I've found sacks of potatoes in the laundry aisle sometimes in my Ms:rotfl:. And they don't always update all prices correctly, in either M or T, so can't do a complete job there so what hope do they have of doing one here?)
