The other half and her friend have been listening in shifts for this every day this week. Today was the last day. I was out at the Tesco earlier and the other half called me in a very excited manner to say she had got through and was picked as the winner of the £1,000 :-) Her friend and her had agreed to go halves if either won and both are quite giddy still over 3 hours later ha ha!

Excellent win, I listened solidly on the first day but was listening over the internet. I tried to ring as soon as I heard the repeat but realised that I didn't stand a chance of getting through. Due to the delay between real time radio and internet radio I think most of the winners will have come from the regions where it is transmitted.
