How do I freeze the board?

Can anyone help, Im sure I read somewhere that you could do it? Just while I work my way through without it moving all the time. Thank you:)

This will sort the board into POST ORDER with 200 posts per page
so no posts will be bumped to the top when someone comments on one

POST ORDER

And this will sort the board in to END DATE again 200 posts per page (you will have to scroll half way down the page to bypass all the incorrectly titled posts - then you will see the comps ending 01/01 and so on)

Newly listed is as close as you can get but when you refresh the page it will move.

The board adjusts the order whenever anyone posts. But the adjustments only come into play when we refresh. Therefore it's best to open each thread in a new tab or window. That way you don't have to refresh the list of comps until you reach the top or bottom of the page you're working from. And if you follow DynasticDux's tip, and comp with a list of 200 threads , or whatever number you choose, that will reduce the number of times you need to refresh the page too.
