Company car

Just after some advice. When applying for a mortgage should we be declaring a company car?
We have always based our salary with the deduction included. So for example basic salary is £20,000 company car brings the taxable figure up to £23,000 but I would quote £20,000 as the salary as you don't see the cash equivalent.
Is this right?

Yeah it's a bit of a strange one really. Because your net income is not typical of a standard gross salary either.0
