Two amazing concerts, two great locations and two pairs of tickets that could be yours, all to mark the launch of The Africa Channel here in the UK on Sky.

Angelique Kidjo and Mayra Andrade will both be performing live at The Barbican, in September; while Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Vusi Mahlasela will perform at London's Royal Festival Hall this October.

The Africa Channel is a showcase for the African continent's most outstanding English language television programs and launches on Sky's Style and Culture tier on August 20, 2007 with a 24/7 lineup that reflects the people of Africa, their incredible stories, their daily lives, their music and art, their successes, celebrations and challenges.

With award winning programming spanning a wide range of genres including News and Information, Lifestyle and Travel, Feature Films, Dramatic Series, Soap Operas and Sports, The Africa Channel will open up a daily window into a world filled with rich cultures, heart-stopping adventures, emotional human drama...and music, with all of the richness, texture and tradition of the countless musical genres found on the African Continent.

To celebrate the launch of The Africa Channel on Sky TV they are giving one lucky winner tickets to see some of the African continent's most revered recording artists who will be appearing live on stage in the month's ahead. Angelique Kidjo and Mayra Andrade are in concert at The Barbican, London on Friday, 28 September 2007 (7.30pm) and Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Vusi Mahlasela appear at London Royal Festival Hall on Monday, 15 October 2007 (7.30pm). Five runners up prizes of a Ladysmith Black Mambazo and Angelique Kidjo compilation CD each are also on offer.
