I doubt it's anything to do with that.. I think most people who play it regularly have all of them filled except one in the same way. They have a limited number of prizes so they are of course going to almost-complete everybody's rows so they keep checking back until they actually allocate a prize to somebody.
It's only the last sweet that ever means anything.

Currys did not work for me first thing but it just worked for me.


I have also noticed that sometimes when I click on a retailer it does not work first time but if I go off it and back on again it works the second time.

Not me I've been checking daily and going through loads of retailers each day but still missing 16 sweets (only got 8 so far).

Today managed to get 3 - Currys, Green Flag and Dominos which gave me 1 sweet and 2 x +1

Maybe it is worth for you go to "Christmas Spectaclar" banner or under "offers" tab in the menu, hopeful you may find couple or thereabout from there and keep to check again if it's not success in first place as Currys is nothing for me till this morning it's there.
