On track

In June of 2014 myself and my partner had debts of 30k on 7 credit cards plus 2k left of a car loan.

In June of 2014 we took out a 25k debt consolidation loan with Natwest over 3 years (paying 871 a month). We also took out a low interest credit card for the 7k remaining debt.

17 months later we now owe 13k on the Natwest loan and 6k on the credit card. Although we are paying off 1k a month we feel like we are actually getting somewhere and in that time we have also build up some small savings to cover emergencies.

Looking forward to being debt free in 17 months time.

Then the only debt we will have will be a mortgage debt.
