RC Twitter issue today

Quite a few of my daily RC tweets didn't work today. Gleam was fine, but with about half of the ordinary RC ones. It wouldn't let me do the tweets and said I had already tweeted them. I got through by altering the tweet very slightly.

I don't know why. I definitely hadn't tweeted any of them since fairly early yesterday.

Me too, but Gleam is also saying " something went wrong" on some comps

Me too, I c&p'd some tweets and that worked for a little while. My gleam entries were absolutely fine tho.

Same here and was getting the message about tweets being too long that weren't quite often too.

Me too - getting I have already tweeted when I haven't. I have emailed Rafflecopter.

I've just gone through today's, and it did happen again, but just for two or three of the daily tweets. I'm assuming that the ones I slightly doctored yesterday were fine today. If that's true, then at least it means we can alter them a little bit and they should go through. Then the next the original tweet should work. Does that make sense?

Where it wouldn't let me tweet, I added an extra space somewhere, or did something like changing "I've" to "I have".

Tomorrow, if the error is still happening, I'll make a note of which ones, to start looking for any patterns.

I'm still not having any issues with the Gleam ones - so far.

For the faulty ones, I have altered the text a little too - added a full stop or took away a space. No reply back from Rafflecopter yet but if and when I do hear from them I will update you. Hope they get the problem sorted before the Advents - I remember they made changes just before the Advents last year and it caused havoc! :eek:

I don't think its a rafflecopter issue but a twitter issue, I have some tweets that I copy and paste every day and it's not allowing those either

Still happening for me today - just with raffles and not gleam. I was in agreement with Ikkle - ie thinking it must be a twitter problem, but if it was, then surely gleam would be effected too?

I emailed rafflecopter a few days ago but haven't received a reply. Is this problem still happening to anyone else?

It has happened on a couple of Rafflecopters, but Gleam is now fine.
