Redux - the 10k tax free allowance, the night threshold and tax credits are the reliefs I'm talking about, relief on basic life costs. I myself don't get an enhanced rate, its treated as a separate zero hour contract for me.
Foxy - Its good that you finish the mortgage early, I intend to too from regular income, just if you use overtime to do it you'll pay more in tax than you might've in interest. I'm thinking of leasehold service charges which can be sudden and brutal without warning, as well as car repairs, I have nothing to buy except a better property and early retirement.
