Help with debt recovery from closed payday loan company
Options
Hello,
I have just receieved a phone call from a company called blackstone who have told me I have £226 outstanding from 2013 from a company called Noveau finance. I said I have never heard of them and was told that it was for a payday loan called payday lender, which I have also never heard of. Can anyone help as I did put all my loans into a debt management plan around then but they were all paid off and I am sure I never used this one. Thanks
Matthew

Just ignore them, they will go away. Change your phone number would be a good start.0

I'd guess it's a scam.
Nouveau Finance appears to be behind a few loan brokers and not a lender itself: http://www.nouveaufinance.com/view_a_sampling_of_our_products.
The FCA has issued a warning about a company claiming to be Blackstone: http://www.fca.org.uk/news/warnings/blackstone.0 -
Hi Matthew
If this company is pursuing legitimate business then they can write to you. Until then, ignore them.
Thanks SnowTiger for the Blackstone FCA link above, which I personally wasn't aware of until now.
