Hello,

New here but cant find an Intruduction section so am just starting with this. I'm constantly on the look out for new business ideas, I own a campsite which has been going for 5 years and mainly runs itself. I have just started to get into Matched Betting which is going well.

I have been thinking of doing some work with social media for businesses. Nowadays a business isn't much without the likes of Facebook, Twitter, even the internet. Do you think there would be much demand for someone to work with companies to help get them online (I'm sure there are many that aren't online), can be just getting them on Facebook to going to meetings with them and getting them websites designed, getting them on the big wide web... Just an idea, dont know if there are people that do this on here that could shed some more light...

You could focus on businesses around your campsite may be and see how it goes. It is hard to determine whether there will be enough demand for your services. Surely there is a demand for such things but how much of it you can turn into business - no one can tell you.

When Google came onto the scene, it was a crowded market. There were already several successful search engines. Now they run the world. :eek:

I've seen people looking for a social media manager over on The Money Shed a few times so it's worth checking there (you can even post your services for people to contact you).

I tried giving this a go last year, had a few places interested but not much else.
