can't access bottom tiles

I'm not the most technical person, so apologies if this is so simple...

on the bottom line on the screen where you have the tiles etc and the windows button,

I can't get windows button

I can access the middle section to get the word / spreadsheet etc / but the other end of the bar - speakers etc - cant access - click and get ni where

What version of Windows? Do you mean the taskbar?

If so, do you mean that you can see the middle buttons only (for the running programs) but can't see the 'Windows' button on the left side and the time, notification icons etc. on the right side?

I can see all the tiles - the windows doesn't click, the middle section (powerpoint, word etc ) all work -

right - printer, speakers, avast, net signl - there showing but not being able to click on them x
