Santander after declared BR

Hi as you know I went BR at the start of October and was worried about Bank Accounts. I couldn't get a Barclays as I was in debt with them and the same as Coop had debts with them also, so I tried my luck with a basic account at Santander which I applied for a week before going BR and was told today from the manager on the phone from Santander that they're letting me keep my account.

The basic account come with all online banking which is a bonus too.

Also someone sent me a private message but for the life of me I can't find out where to open it.

Thanks for the info. FYI Barclays will not refuse an account because of debt with them.
