Options
Did anyone else pre purchase a season pass along with a copy of Fallout 4 from Game ?

Is the season pass emailed to you or is it a physical copy ?

AFAIK it would be on a receipt, but I could be wrong with that, I'd suggest social media but well, that's been looking very ugly with the idiot gamers associated with the idiot games for idiot gamers crowd. (CoD players)

Might be quicker phoning the store you prepaid it at, people knocked them over twitter for it, but last night I was in & out in less than 5 minutes. Meanwhile people were queueing up to get served because they didn't prepay it, something which in the end was a major issue for them last Thursday night.

  • Try social media. Ugly as it is right now, just bear with it and you should get an answer. You can also try email (what can I say, I'm oldschool).
This might be a bit (a lot) off-topic, but I do need to express my opinion, because this bugs me a lot. I'm seriously starting to get frustrated with this whole "pre-purchase" thing. All of you get so hyped, buy into the bullsh*t, pour your money into corporate pockets and then have the nerve to complain that "the game was not good as advertised". :rotfl: Seriously, mate? Isn't it? And there I was thinking companies were being completely honest about the quality of their products. Because of people's need for instant gratification, gaming has gone downhill. Companies pour more money into marketing than game development so they can make huge profits. Nothing wrong with that, it's a business. But what about gamers. This has been going on for years. Why don't people open their eyes?! Anyway, I'm done. Probably should've opened my own thread. Sorry if I've offended anyone. Cheers.

The guys who have prepaid generally aren't the ones doing the moaning unless they ordered it online - prepaying it makes things a ton easier I'd imagine from both sides of the till. The thing too to remember about the last week or so & all the ugliness on social media is one really small, but terribly important thing. The people doing the complaining, well they're the reason I call Call of Duty an idiot game for idiotic people - brain dead folks who honestly barely struggle to string together a sentence. Soon as you mess with their precious games by numbers game they moan, relentlessly like the children they most closely resemble.

I will only prepay a game when I know what I'm getting - so I knew I was getting what I assume will be a top quality game with good play-time potential. I knew I was buying a product where if I'm being honest I know it's going to have bugs, but I'm cool with it because I know Bethesda will fix those bugs as quickly as possible. I'm also buying it safe in the knowledge that I won't have to engage with the afforementioned idiots - general rule of thumb is kids stick with toys & I'm playing it on PC. ;)

It was however a glorious moment yesterday after I installed it and it told me I could run it in Ultra settings - I might only have got to drink a cup of coffee but it was in ultra. Simple things!

Got it sorted, contacted the store on Facebook who sent me the code. I believe the Issue was I wasn't given a receipt with the season pass on. I'm glad its sorted though.
