Hi all,
I'm new to this site and after some advice, I've managed to lose my tracking number for a parcel sent back with collect plus, it was quite expensive, and I've been in tears over it, do I have to write it off or is there anyway I can claim the money back? Say through PayPal or my credit card company?

I assume the company that you sent it back to hasn't received it?

Gutted, I read a post on here where someone from collect plus got involved to try and find the tracking number, I know exactly when/where it was sent. I'm hoping someone will be able to help, this could ruin our Christmas0

I can't find the post for you after searching unfortunately, maybe someone on here can point you in the right direction.
I had the same problem once and I went back to my local shop and they couldn't help me and the company that I was sending back to said that there is nothing they can do without my receipt which proved that I sent it back.

Just a thought, did the company email you the returns label? If so they may be able to trace through your email address and find the tracking number that was assigned to you?
How long ago did you send the parcel? the tracking code is sent to your email address along with the parcel label.
If you use the tracking code to check delivery status on the website then you should be covered for loss as long as it has been scanned in correctly at the shop.
If the shop has lost it and not scanned it, then without a receipt to say the shop has accepted it then you will be onto a loser.0
