Combined gift idea children of different ages?

I can only afford to buy a single gift for each set of my nieces and nephews. There's 10 kids in total, split into 3 families so I need to get 3 gifts. Usually I buy a box of quality street/roses or biscuits but I'd really like to hear any other ideas. I've thought about board games but it's difficult with the age ranges (2-11yo) and I think the older kids prefer their iPads anyway. Any suggestions appreciated.

How about a movie night in? Poundworld have popcorn tubs then add some popcorn, festive DVD, sweeties and juice. Then they can enjoy their gift all together. It can all be found in poundshops making in affordable gift too.Taking responsibility one penny at a time!0

make or decorate your own gingerbread kits have been well received as a family gift for children of multiple ages. Last year when I bought one for kids in my extended family (14,11 and 6 at the the time) the mum said it was nice for them to have something to do together as hers are at an age now where they often choose to socialise with friends over siblings. Most supermarkets have festive themed baking kits if gingerbread doesn't appeal.
board games are a classic family gift.
a nice idea I have seen on Pinterest is an ice cream sundae kit, containing ice cream cones, sauces, sprinkles etc and a supermarket gift voucher towards the cost of adding ice cream.
is there a local attraction you could buy them a family voucher for? Bowling, swimming, ice skating, museum etc?know thyselfNid wy'n gofyn bywyd moethus...0 -
Can recommend the movie night idea.
Used to make one up for my grown up nephew's family - you can get huge popcorn tin at Costco (or huge bag of nachos if they prefer), used to put with family movie , couple of bottles of pop for kids and bottle of wine for nephew and wife. Idea of evening out voucher good too - you can use Tesco points for cinema ticket vouchers for Odeon or Cinema world.
for the younger ones - just omit the wine
For younger ones - similar to Pavlov's idea - send them cooking utensils, cheap recipe book or one recipe with ingredients. Wilkinsons do cheap but sturdy bowls, whisks, wooden spoons etc.0 -
I once got a joint christmas gift as a child, it was a large snowglobe that wound up and played music. Still remember it although my mum managed to claim it for her house!0
