I need the rest :o but at least its tidy now :T

I'm off to walk the dog now, after that I'm gonna count my coppers and declutter the kitchen drawers :D

  • Oh dear :( it all went a bit pear shaped after the dog walk.
Well, it was suppose to be a nsd but I've ran out of bin liners, so I thought I'd pop to lidl to buy just bin liners :o
They've got all their Xmas stuff in :D I've bought 3 Xmas pressies for DD non of which are on her Xmas list but I know she will love them :j
Then I had to pop to our bizarre shop to buy wrapping paper otherwise she will spot them coz she's sniffs them out and I drop hints coz I get so excited :o I love Xmas!
Then I remembered the tin opener was playing up so I bought one.
It gets worse though :( I succumbed to buying a bottle of wine which is really really naughty of me.
I am bad  and about £30 odd lighter after my pootle round the shops.
I only wanted bin liners :(

I'm contemplating it all over a coffee and its all good!
I am quite brilliant at being positive/deluded when needs be ;)

Wrapping paper was always gonna be bought at some point and it was only £1 a roll and I only bought 4 rolls :)

I can't open my tins without a tin opener, its an essential and was only £3.75 :)

My dds presents were a hot water bottle with a super duper cozy red cover for only 3.99 , bargain and means I can turn the heating off earlier at night hence saving money :)
A book of coloured card which she would need for her art at school anyhow :)
And a wall clock in love lettering which she can take with her next year coz she is doing a residential course next year. She will need a clock and it will be something familiar to remind her of home :)

Surely I'm allowed a little bit of wine later as a treat to christen my new diary :o
Or I might lose the will to live :p and that would be counter productive!

Its all fine peeps :T and I didn't use my cc.

I don't think I really had a lightbulb moment. I think I've ALWAYS been a little bit terrified of being homeless or not being able to meet the bills.
I'm a single mum and my dd is my weakness. She will be gone next year :( off to jockey school in Newmarket. 800 applied and only 200 got in  very proud mum that she made it. Its been a long exhausting road.

Don't split a rib laughing but all I really wanna do now is work in a cafe or a tea shop and muck out and ride horses at the weekend. That's all I want :)
I love my telly, my home, my animals, cooking, baking, reading, walking. Im a happy little chick but I need to sort work out and get a bit more of a life :o
I'm single and have been for near on ten years. I'm quite happy to have the odd encounter, dinner and sex once in a blue moon, a bit of company, but I don't fancy a relationship. Its just not for me. I couldn't think of anything of worse

So that's the main thing for me to sort peeps. A job in a cafe :rotfl: how hard can it be eh? :D
  • I have a small spends purse so if I need something like binbags/milk etc I take the purse (has about 20 quid in it) and go. This makes it harder to buy other stuff as I may not have enough money with me and I find it psychologically harder to hand over actual cash. If I see things I think I actually want/need I can think about it when I get home and return later if needs be.

Sorry that was a bit of a waffle

Thanks fuzzy :) I'm gonna do this.

    I had a nsd yesterday :T

    I'm off job hunting today.
Taking dd swimming tonight. That's not cheap :( but we love it and keeps us fit and makes us feel good. We do loads of walking together but we do like a swim once a week. She will be away working next year and we won't have chance to do stuff like that then, so pooh to the money, I'm making the most of it :)

I have a dog to clip and groom tomorrow so that will pay for it and I won't get a take away this weekend. Just gonna have a quiet weekend and lots of food in to use up. Cauli cheese and chicken tonight :j

Coppers came to £19 and have been paid in :T

That will pay for mine and dds joint birthday meal. There is only two days between our bdays :)

We were going to swim tonight which would cost £7.30 for the both of us but we have decided to do the aqua class on Tuesday instead which OK will cost £9.20 but its a whole hour of tough fun exercise plus a swim after :)
Cmon now girls! You know it makes sense :T
The £7.30 wouldn't benefit us! Wed just pootle up and down doing breast stroke and natter in between.
The £9.20 is gonna burn all those calories and rid me of evil toxins ;)
