    to be honest i am not so bothered about the hd dvd drive as you can get a standalone player for not that much more money

    There are already Premiums going round with the HDMI port, and have a sticker on the box showing the fact that it has HDMI. The new motherboard design that is in the Elite, is slowly being worked into the new Premiums (presumably to save costs, why make two different boards!)

    google for 360 premium hdmi, to return a whole raft of information about it all! :)

    Its all a gimmick, theres no real noticable change between HDMI and Component when viewing the 360 in HD, makes me laugh!

    It does carry the sound though - so peeps can get to hear their 360 through the tinny little speakers in their LCD :)
